The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve signed S Shamiel Gary to their practice squad on Thursday and placed S Joe Powell on the practice squad injured list.
The Bills’ practice squad now consists of:
- OT Michael Ola
- LB Max Valles
- LBÂ Bryson Albright
- DB Damian Parms (Injured)
- DB Joe Powell (Injured)
- WR Ed Eagen
- TE Manasseh Garner
- LS Reid Ferguson
- C Dalton Freeman
- TE Gerald Christian
- G Isame Faciane
- S Shamiel Gary
Gary, 25, originally signed with the Patriots as a undrafted free agent out Oklahoma Stae in 2014. He later caught on with the Bears before signing a future/reserve contract with the Dolphins.
Gary was unfortunately among the Dolphins’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Vikings’ practice squad a few days later. Minnesota cut him loose back in October and he later signed on to the Patriots’ practice squad before he was just recently released.
In 2015, Gary appeared in six games for the Dolphins and recorded 11 tackles and no interceptions.
