Bills Sign Third-Round DL Adolphus Washington To A Four-Year Deal

According to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, the Bills have signed third-round DL Adolphus Washington to a four-year deal.

This leaves Shaq Lawson (1st), LB Reggie Ragland (2nd) and QB Cardale Jones (4th) as the last remaining draft picks to sign their rookie deals.

Washington was taken with the No. 80 overall pick by the Bills a few weeks ago, and appears to have at least a shot at starting for Buffalo at some point in the near future.

Bills GM Doug Whaley recently referred to Washington as being a potential a Week 1 starter.

Shaq Lawson is going to walk in off the bus starting. Reggie Ragland and then Adolphus Washington — all three of those guys will start right off the bus,” Whaley said. “And we’re excited for some guys from the fourth through sixth rounds that will contribute for us.

According to OverTheCap.com, Washington receives a four-year contract worth $3,094,296 to go along with a signing bonus of $754,296.

During his college career at Ohio State, Washington recorded 142 tackles, 25 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, an interception returned for a touchdown, three forced fumbles, a recovery and four pass defenses.
