The Buffalo Bills announced Saturday that they’ve signed veteran C Eric Wood to a two-year extension.
- Ian Rapoport reports that Wood receives a two-year extension with $16 million available in new money and an additional $5.275 million this year.
- According to Rapoport, Wood receives a $6.5 million signing bonus and a $1.75 million roster bonus due in five days. In total, he gets $14.2 million guaranteed.

Wood, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Bills back in 2009. He was in the final year of his five-year, $27.7 million contract and set to make a base salary of $4.125 million for the 2017 season.
The Bills and Wood agreed to restructure his contract at the start of last season, which created $2.5 million of cap space for the Bills.
In 2016, Wood was limited to appearing in nine games for the Bills after he was placed on injured reserve with a broken right fibula. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 32 center out of 39 qualifying players.
