Bills Sign Veteran WR Brandon Tate

The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve signed veteran WR Brandon Tate to a contract.

The Broncos recently brought Tate in for a workout, but it appears as though the Bills were his best opportunity in the end.

Tate, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2009. He pasted just over three years in New England before he was later claimed off of waivers by the Bengals.

Tate re-signed with the Bengals back in March before he was unfortunately cut loose earlier in the week, as they trimmed their roster down to 75 players.

In 2015, Tate appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and recorded two receptions for 59 yards receiving and contributed 413 kick return yards and another 171 punt return yards.
