The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they’ve signed WR Kain Colter to a contract and placed WR Davonte Allen and K Marshall Morgan on waivers.
Colter actually tried out for the Bills a month ago, so he was clearly on their radar.
Colter, 23, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern back in May of 2014. He lasted just a few months in Minnesota before he was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Vikings did, however, sign him to their practice squad and later brought him back on a future/reserve contract at the end of the year. However, he was waived shortly after last year’s NFL draft.
The Rams elected to sign him to a contract in February. However, he was unfortunately waived in June.
Colter has yet to appear in an NFL game.
