Bills Sign WR Marcus Thigpen & OL Ryan Groy, Waive Two

According to Vic Carucci, the Bills have signed WR Marcus Thigpen and OL Ryan Groy, and waived WR Denarius Moore and RB Daniel HerronĀ to make room on the active roster.

Thigpen, 29, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana back in 2009. Since then, Thigpen has played for a number of teams including the Broncos, Dolphins, Patriots, Buccaneers, Bills and Colts.

The Raiders signedĀ Thigpen to a contractĀ earlier in November, but released him shortly afterwards.

This season, Thigpen has appeared in four games and totaled 29 kick return yards and 47 punt return yards for the Bills.

Groy, 25, joined the Bears last season as an undrafted free agent and appeared in four games in 2014. The Patriots traded for Groy back in August, but he did not last long with the team. Groy has spent a brief time in 2015Ā with the Buccaneers’ practice squad.
