The Buffalo Bills announced the signing of WR Tori Gurley and CB Kamaal McIlwain on Saturday.
Both players recently worked out for the Bills three-day minicamp back in June, so it appears as though they made enough of an impression to get secure an opportunity to compete for a roster spot in training camp.
Gurley, 26, was most recently with the Browns before he was cut loose back in May. He generated some buzz while he was with the Packers a few years ago. However, Gurley has only caught a single pass for 15 yards over the course of his career.
Cleveland signed him t o a reserve/future contract back in December, but it appears as though they prefer their other options at receiver.
McIlwain, 26, was with the Chiefs during training camp last year, but was unfortunately cut loose at the start of the regular season. He originally signed on to the Saints practice squad during his rookie season before later joining the Panthers.
