Bills Signing S Colt Anderson & LB Lorenzo Alexander

The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’veĀ agreed to terms with S Colt Anderson and LB Lorenzo Alexander.

Buffalo hosted both players for visits last week, so they were clearly on the team’s radar.

Alexander, 32, wound up signign on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2005. He lasted one season in Carolina before signing on to the Ravens’ practice squad at the start of the 2006 season.

Alexander later caught on with the Redskins and spent six years in Washington. After two seasons with the Cardinals, the Raiders signed him to a contract at the start of the 2015 season and he finished out the year in Oakland.

In 2015, Alexander appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 13 tackles and no sacks.

Anderson, 30, originally signed on with the Vikings back in 2009. He spent over a year in Minnesota before he was signed off of their practice squad by the Eagles.

Anderson spent four years with the Eagles before signing on with the Colts as an unrestricted free agent in 2014.

In 2015, Anderson appeared in 14 games and recorded 17 tackles and no interceptions.
