Bills Signing WR Jeremy Butler To One-Year Deal

Adam Schefter is reporting that the Bills are signing former Chargers receiver Jeremy Butler to a one-year contract on Monday.

Butler was among three players who visited with the Bills in recent days, so he was clearly on their radar as a potential addition.

Butler, 25, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee-Martin back in May of 2014. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was waived and later signed to their practice squad in 2015.

The Ravens brought him back on an exclusive rights contract only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason. However, Butler played for a few teams last year including the Buccaneers, Jets and Chargers.

In 2016, Butler appeared in four games and caught two passes for 11 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
