It appears that the Buffalo Bills could be in trade talks with an unknown team for S Donte Whitner.
Whitner posted some interesting tweets this afternoon that may suggest that he has been informed by the Bills that they intend to trade him. Whitner tweeted that “I’d like to say it’s been a pleasure.” He later added “I’m not sure what this means …”
While it’s hard to be certain of what Whitner is addressing with his tweets, the Bills appear to be ready to move some of their trade chips for draft picks. Both the Packers and Colts are currently in need of safety help and could possibly be destinations for Whitner if he becomes available.
