The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they have placed CB Jonte Green on waivers.
Green, 25, is former sixth round pick of the Lions back in 2012. He spent the first two years in Detroit before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season. The Bills wound up signing him to a future/reserve contract this past January.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing will free up $585,000 in available cap space while creating no dead money.
Green hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he was still with the Lions.
