Bills Waive DT Marquavius Lewis From IR With Settlement

The Buffalo Bills officially waived K Tyler David on Wednesday and cut DT Marquavius Lewis from injured reserve with a settlement.

Lewis, 25, signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in May of last year. He was among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was on and off of the Bills’ practice squad last season.

Buffalo brought Lewis back on a futures contract this past January only to waive him with an injury designation last week. Lewis later reverted to injured reserve.

During his college career at South Carolina, Lewis recorded 93 tackles, 9.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses over the course of 24 games.
