The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve waived FB Dan Vitale with a failed physical designation on Monday.
The Bills also signed the following players to their practice squad:
Vitale, 22, was taken in the sixth-round of this year’s NFL draft by the Buccaneers. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $2.47 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.
The Buccaneers elected to waive him on Friday, but the Bills later claimed him off of waivers.
During his college career at Northwestern, Vitale caught 135 passes for 1,427 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns over the course of four years.
