Bills Waive OT Cyrus Kouandjio, Sign WR Rod Streater & TE Wes Saxton

The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve placed OT Cyrus Kouandjio and QB Josh Woodrum on waivers Wednesday and signed WR Rod Streater and TE Wes Saxton to contracts.

Kouandijo is coming off of a hip injury and was involved in a strange incident last month in which he was found by police “not fully clothed” in a field after climbing over an electric fence.

Kouandjio, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2014. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $4.808 million contract that included $2.825 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1,025,748 for the 2017 season.

In 2016, Kouandjio appeared in 12 games for the Bills.

Streater, 29, wound up signing on with the Raiders as undrafted free agent out of Temple back in 2012. He’s spent all four of his years of his NFL career with the Raiders before signing a one-year,  $810,000 contract with $4 million in incentives with the Chiefs last year.

The Chiefs later traded Streater and a conditional 2019 seventh-round pick to 49ers for a conditional 2019 seventh-round pick.

In 2016, Streater appeared in all 16 games and caught 18 passes for 191 yards receiving and two touchdowns for the 49ers.
