Bills Worked Out 5 DBs Including Brian Dixon

According to Howard Balzer, the Buffalo Bills brought in five players for tryouts on Wednesday including S Trey Caldwell, CB Brian Dixon, CB Deji Olatoye, CB Trovon Reed, and CB Sammy Seamster.

Of this group, the Bills elected to sign Seamster to their practice squad.

Dixon, 27, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2014. He was on and off of their roster for three seasons before the Cardinals signed him off of the Saints’ practice squad last December.

Dixon was in the final year of his contract and set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season when the Cardinals waived him back in May. The Jaguars later signed him to a contract but he was, unfortunately, among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2016, Dixon appeared in five games and recorded two tackles for the Saints and Cardinals.
