Bills Worked Out Veteran S James Ihedigbo

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Bills brought in veteran S James Ihedigbo for a workout on Wednesday.

Buffalo also worked out S Sergio Brown and elected to sign him to a contract following the session.

Ihedigbo, 32, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent back in 2007. He spent four years in New York before catching on with the Patriots and later with the Ravens.

Ihedigbo signed a two-year contract with the Lions back in March of 2014 and played out the deal before testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Ihedigbo appeared in 15 games and recorded 63 tackles, one sack, an interception, three forced fumbles, and two pass defenses for the Lions. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 64 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
