Bills Working On A New Contract With WR Steve Johnson

Rodney McKissic of the Buffalo News reports that the Bills have been discussing a new contract with WR Steve Johnson during the past week.

There were some concerns that Buffalo may not be interested in keeping him as his maturity issues were addressed by head coach Chan Gailey following the end of the regular season. The Bills offense was what helped them jump out to a hot start this season and Johnson is one of their best offensive weapons at that.

Earlier reports mentioned that Johnson is looking for a deal that will pay him $7.5 million per season in the range of 4-5 years. We have Johnson listed as the #32 best available free agent in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
