Brady Quinn Likely To End Up With The Jets?

ESPN’s Chris Mortenson reported on NFL 32 that there’s a good chance that QB Brady Quinn will likely end up with the Jets next season.

Mortenson points to the fact that new Jets’ QB coach David Lee has a history with Quinn and reportedly “likes (Quinn) a lot“.

Quinn, 30, eventually took over for Matt Cassel near the mid-point of the 2012 season. He threw for 1141 yards, but finished the season with only two touchdown passes and eight interceptions.

The Jets are reportedly looking for competition at the quarterback position, but it’s fair to wonder if Quinn will be able to push Mark Sanchez for the job next season. Obviously, New York has some serious cap issues that they’re currently dealing with, so they’ll most likely have to target some cheaper options in free agency or grab a developmental player in the draft.
