Brandon Browner Hoping To Return To Seahawks After Deal With Saints Is Up

New Saints CB Brandon Browner told reporters at Richard Sherman‘s softball game on Sunday that once his contract is up, he’s hoping to be back with the Seahawks, per Bob Condotta.

The Patriots elected to not pick up Browner’s option after he reportedly declined to take a pay cut to be back in New England.

New Orleans later signed him to a three-year contract worth $15 million and includes $10 million guaranteed.

Browner, 30, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2005. He last just over a year in Denver before he was waived and later caught on with the Seahawks.

In 2014, Browner was limited to appearing in nine games for the Patriots and recorded 25 tackles, one interception and six pass defenses. However, he helped to solidify the team’s secondary in their Super Bowl run.
