Brandon Lloyd Interested In Playing For The Patriots?

Free agent WR Brandon Lloyd, got a chance to talk today to Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran, from Comcast SportsNet New England  and expressed his level of interest in potentially playing for the Patriots, by saying he is,

Very interested. And like I said earlier, I admire Coach Bill (Belichick), I admire Tom Brady, I admire how they run things over there. For any receiver to be considered to come in and play on the New England Patriots is gonna be excited just because of the history of success”

Lloyd who is a ten year veteran, has shown spurts of being a legitimate weapon in the passing game, especially under the wing of now Patriots offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels when they both spent time together in Denver and in St. Louis.

It would seem to be a perfect fit for both parties as Lloyd is a great fit in McDaniels’s system, and would provide an instant upgrade over an unproductive Chad Ochocinco , who’s status with the team is currently unknown, and maybe even Deion Branch as well.  Adding Lloyd, would only improve and add depth to an offense, that is already one of the most explosive in all of the AFC.
