Update:

The NFL has already responded to the report from Jay Glazer that the Giants alerted the NFL that the Steelers may have deflated footballs during last week’s game.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that the Giants alerted the NFL that the Steelers may have deflated footballs during last week’s game.

According to Glazer, after two takeaways during the game, the Giants tested footballs on the sideline and found that they were under the required limits. New York sent them to the league.

Meanwhile, the Steelers have said that they have no issues with anyone testing the footballs and they did nothing wrong.

The Giants haven’t heard back from the NFL regarding the matter.

Just when you think we would no longer be taking about teams deflating footballs is over, it appears as though there’s a chance we could be moving toward another “DeflateGate.”

For their role in “DeflateGate“, Patriots QB Tom Brady was suspended four games without pay and the Patriots were forced to pay a $1 million fine and forfeit their first round pick in the 2016 NFL draft as well as their fourth round pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

That’s the kind of punishment the Steelers could face, depending on the results of the investigation.

We’ll have more regarding this situation as the news is available.
