ESPN’s Dan Graziano reports that the Jaguars have fired offensive coordinator Greg Olson on Saturday, which comes just a few days after another disappointing offensive performance against the Titans.

Ian Rapoport reports that the Jaguars’ new offensive coordinator is QBs coach Nathaniel Hackett.

  • According to Ian Rapoport, there had been a disconnect between Olson and HC Gus Bradley for some time, due to a lack of focus on running the ball this season.
  • Beyond that, Rapoport mentions that with QB Blake Bortles struggling and the entire offense not looking very good, change was deemed necessary.

Interestingly enough, Bradley told reporters on Friday that he didn’t expect to make any changes to the coaching staff or delegation of duties.

Many wondered after Thursday’s game whether Bradley’s job could be in danger but team owner Shad Khan said that he isn’t planning to make a change right now.

Olson, 53, was hired to run the Jaguars’ offense last year, so he lasted about a year and a half in Jacksonville.

This season, the Jaguars rank No. 25 in yards, No. 24 points scored, No. 31 in rushing and No. 13 in passing.
