Jaguars Signing Calais Campbell To Four-Year, $60M Deal

Adam Schefter is reporting that the Jaguars are signing DL Calais Campbell to a four-year, $60 million deal that includes $30 million guaranteed.

Campbell also considered signing with the Broncos, but it appears as though he felt Jacksonville was the best fit for him.

Campbell, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2008. He played out the final year of his five-year, $55 million contract that included $17 million guaranteed and will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2016, Campbell appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and recorded 53 tackles, eight sacks, an interception, three fumble recoveries with one being returned for a touchdown, two forced fumbles, six pass defenses and a safety. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 2 interior defensive lineman out of 127 qualifying players.

We had all of them featured in our Top 100 – 2017 Free Agents list.
