Reports from recent days mentioned that Clinton-Dix was on the trade block and could be moved before today’s deadline, given that he’s on an expiring deal and set to command a big-money deal in free agency next year.

Clinton-Dix, 25, was taken with the No. 21 overall pick by the Packers back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $8,338,501 contract when the Packers picked up his fifth-year option.

Clinton-Dix will make a base salary of $5,957,000 for the 2018 season before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Clinton-Dix has appeared in six games for the Packers and recorded 23 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, a forced fumble and three pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Top 25 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
