Broncos Activating S Su’a Cravens From Injured Reserve

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Broncos will activate S Su’a Cravens from injured reserve before Saturday’s 4pm EST deadline.

According to Rapoport, Cravens should suit up for the Broncos this weekend.

Cravens, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Redskins back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $4.430 million contract that included $2.523 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $450,000 and $651,408 over the next two years of the agreement.

Cravens wound up sitting out the entire 2017 season before the Redskins traded him to the Broncos back in March. The Broncos placed him on injured reserve coming out of the preseason and later designated him to return.

In 2016, Cravens appeared in 11 games for the Redskins and recorded 34 tackles, one sack, an interception and five pass defenses. Cravens was limited to playing 294 total snaps last year.
