Broncos Could Have RB Willis McGahee Back For The AFC championship Game

Broncos head coach John Fox told reporters that RB Willis McGahee could be available for the AFC championship game next week, assuming that they’re able to beat the Ravens this weekend, via the Denver Post.

McGahee was placed on injured reserve with the designation to return after he suffered a knee injury back in Week 11. He’s reportedly looked decent in practice this week, so that’s an encouraging sign for him moving forward.

Denver has been using Knowshon Moreno as their main running back with Ronnie Hillman receiving some carries as well. Having McGahee back in the mix couldn’t hurt given that he’s a better between-the-tackles running back than either of the other players.
