Broncos DC Wade Phillips Released From Hospital Soon, Will Return To Team Monday

The Denver Broncos announced that DC Wade Phillips has been released from the hospital after everything checked out okay. Phillips is expected back with the team on Monday.

Pro Football Talk reports that Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is fine and is expected to be released from the hospital soon.

The Broncos announced that DC Wade Phillips was taken to hospital for evaluation but is alert and has movement in all extremities.

  • Precautionary tests have come back normal for Phillips, and he does not have a broken leg, despite one report.

Broncos DC Wade Phillips was carted off the field on a stretcher after he was run into by a Chargers player. Phillips was watching the pick-six develop on the field when he was run into.

The good news is that Phillips was able to move his extremities as he was taken off the field.
