Broncos Expected To Make P Riley Dixon Available For Trade

According to Mike Klis, the Broncos are likely to make P Riley Dixon available for trade now that they’re expected to sign P Marquette King to a three-year deal.

The free agent punter market is pretty limited right now outside of former Eagles P Donnie Jones, who was released on Wednesday, so it’s possible that the Broncos could find some interest in Dixon.

Dixon, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.42 million contract and set to make base salaries of $630,000 and $720,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Dixon appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and totaled 3,073 yards on 73 attempts (42.09 YPA) to go along with three touchbacks.

We’ll have more regarding a trade involving Dixon as the news is available.
