Broncos G Ronald Leary Out For Season With Torn Achilles

Update:

Broncos HC Vance Joseph announced Monday that G Ronald Leary does, in fact, have a torn Achilles and will be placed on season-ending injured reserve, per Troy Renck.

Adam Schefter reports that the initial diagnosis for Broncos G Ronald Leary is that he suffered a torn Achilles.

If further tests confirm that Leary did, in fact, suffered a torn Achilles, it would cost him the remainder of the 2018 season and result in the Broncos placing him on injured reserve in the coming days.

Leary, 29, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Cowboys before signing a four-year, $36 million contract that included $18.65 million guaranteed with the Broncos last year.

Leary stands to make a base salary of $7.65 million for the 2018 season.

In 2018, Leary appeared in six games for the Broncos.
