Broncos Get Demaryius Thomas Back

Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post reports that the Denver Broncos will get WR Demaryius Thomas back on for Sunday’s game against the the Miami Dolphins. and he’ll do so with a plate and three screws in his broken left hand, according to Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post.

“This is the healthiest I’ve been, right now, since I’ve been in the league,” said Thomas.

Thomas’s career has been injury riddled despite this being being only his second year in the league.  So far he’s suffered a torn Achilles, a concussion, a broken hand and injuries his foot and ankle. Thomas will be playing with a plate and three screws that were inserted into his left hand.

Considering that Denver just traded Brandon Lloyd to the Rams, the Broncos will be looking to Thomas and Eric Decker to lead their passing attack for the remainder of the season. His health will certainly be an issue to monitor but he’s got more than enough talent to have an impact even with Tim Tebow as his quarterback.
