Broncos Hire Rick Dennison As Offensive Coordinator

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the Broncos have hired Rick Dennison as the team’s new offensive coordinator.

  • Klis adds that the team has also brought in Brian Pariani as their tight ends coach.

Ever since it became clear that Gary Kubiak was going to be the next head coach of the Broncos, Dennison’s name surfaced as the most likely candidates for the job.

He and Kubiak coached together in Houston and were a part of the Ravens’ coaching staff this past season.

Dennison should be a big help to Kubiak as they implement a new offensive system next year.

According to Klis, the Broncos also want to retain WRs coach Tyke Tolbert, and he would not be surprised if they decided to bring in Alex Gibbs as a coaching consultant to assist in teaching their zone-blocking scheme.
