Ian Rapoport reports that the Broncos are hosting veteran CB Jamar Taylor for a visit on Tuesday. According to Rapoport, Taylor could sign a deal with the Broncos tomorrow if all goes well.
- Mike Klis confirms the news and adds that Taylor is expected to sign with Denver if he passes a physical.
This comes after the news that CB Chris Harris is expected to miss time with a fractured fibula.
Taylor, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2013. Miami traded Taylor and the No. 250 overall pick to the Browns back in 2016 for the No. 223 selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Taylor was in the final year of a four-year, $3.626 million contract when the Browns signed him to a three-year, $15 million deal. He was later traded to the Cardinals for a 2020 sixth-round pick this offseason.
Arizona waived Taylor a few weeks ago.
In 2018, Taylor has appeared in 10 games for the Cardinals and recorded 17 tackles, no interceptions and one pass defense.
