Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Broncos are bringing free agent P Marquette King for a visit.

Last night, Mike Klis reported that the Broncos have spoken with King‘s agent, who said that he was open to meeting with the team and had Denver “high on his list.”

Marquette would love an opportunity to come visit there. Obviously, Denver is a punter’s dream. They’re high on his list,” said King’s agent, Wynn Silberman.

The Vikings reportedly inquired about King hours after he was released by the Raiders,.

It’s worth mentioning that signing King to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.

King, 29, originally signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent of Fort Valley State back in 2012. He was in the third year of his five-year, $16.5 million contract that included $7.75 million guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $2.9 million and $2.8 million when the Raiders cut him loose.

In 2017, King appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and totaled 3,065 punt yards on 69 attempts (47.15 YPA) to go along with six touchbacks.
