Broncos Hosting Wyoming QB Josh Allen For Pre-Draft Visit

Mike Klis of 9 News reports that the Broncos are hosting Wyoming QB Josh Allen for a pre-draft visit on Monday.

The Broncos have been doing work on all of the top quarterback prospects, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.

Denver is sitting at No. 5 overall and while three quarterbacks could be taken in the first four picks, it’s possible one of the top-four quarterback prospects could still be on the board by the time the Broncos are on the clock.

Allen, 21, impressive arm and overall skill set, but there are concerns about his accuracy and how this will impact him at the next level. Throughout the draft process, Allen has done a good job of trying to alleviate some of the concerns about his accuracy.

During his college career at Wyoming, Allen threw for 4,912 yards while completing 56.2 percent of his passes to go along with 41 touchdowns 21 interceptions over the course of 26 games. He also rushed for 770 yards and 12 touchdowns for Wyoming.

We have the Broncos taking Baker Mayfield in our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.
