Broncos LB Von Miller Arrested Sunday For Failing To Appear In Court.

ABC Denver reports that Broncos LB Von Miller was arrested Sunday for failing to appear in court.

An arrest warrant was issued back on January 2 after Miller skipped a December 31 court date for traffic charges.

Here is a statement released by the Broncos:

We have been aware of the matter involving Von Miller’s failure to appear in court for traffic violations. It was reported to the league earlier this week and is being handled through the legal system.”

Miller, 24, is already facing a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. His suspension is currently being appealed, but this is hardly the type of thing you want to see from a cornerstone player.

It’s worth noting that Miller is unlikely to face any serious charges from his failure to appear in court.
