Broncos Lose DT Ty Warren

Mike Klis of the Denver Post updates the situation by mentioning that there’s a chance that Warren could only miss 4-6 weeks as long as the injury doesn’t require surgery.

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that DT Ty Warren underwent an MRI which produced a tear in his triceps.

The Broncos brought Warren in to help upgrade their terrible interior defensive line from a year ago but his loss leaves them with a pretty big issue to deal with. Warren’s injury could cost him the entire 2011 season which applies even more pressure to DT Brodrick Bunkley who was also acquired during free agency.

The market is pretty thin for defensive tackles so it will be interesting to see how they deal with this set back in the coming weeks.
