Broncos OT Donald Stephenson Expected To Miss 2-3 Weeks With Calf Injury

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Broncos OTĀ Donald Stephenson is expected to be out 2-3 weeks after he sustained a calf injury during Sunday’s win over the Colts.

  • Rapoport says that Stephenson does not have a tear in his calf, as some had feared.

Stephenson,Ā 27, is a former third-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract before signing aĀ three-year, $14 million contract that included $10 million guaranteed with the Chiefs this past March.

Stephenson stands to make a base salary of $3 million for the 2016 season.

This season, Stephen has appeared in both games for the Broncos and is rated byĀ Pro Football FocusĀ as the No. 35 offensive tackle out of 66 qualifying players.
