Broncos OT Ryan Clady To Undergo Surgery On His Shoulder

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports three NFL sources have confirmed that Broncos LT Ryan Clady will have to undergo surgery on his shoulder and is expected to miss a most of the team’s offseason program.

Clady suffered the injury during the team’s final regular season game against the Chiefs, but was able to play through the injury a few weeks later.

This is hardly the type of thing that you would want to deal with when you’re set to become an unrestricted free agent in the next few months, but it’s doubtful that Clady would even hit the open market given that the Bronc0s could use their franchise tag on him.

Clady is reportedly seeking a deal that would pay him $10 million annually and has already turned down a five-year, $50 million extension from Denver last season.

We have Clady listed as the No. 1 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
