Broncos Place C Matt Paradis On Injured Reserve

The Denver Broncos announced Monday that they’ve officially placed C Matt Paradis on injured reserve to make room for C Gino Gradkowski.

Paradis suffered a fractured fibula a few weeks was expected to undergo surgery as soon as the swelling went down.

Paradis, 29, is a former sixth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2014. He was waived at the start of his rookie season and later signed to their practice squad.

Denver brought Paradis back on an exclusive rights contracts the past two years before re-signed him to a one-year, $2.914 million restricted deal this past April.

Paradis will be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Paradis appeared in nine games for the Broncos.
