Broncos Place DL Vance Walker On I.R. & Re-Sign TE Manasseh Garner

Jeff Legwold reports that the Broncos have placed DL Vance Walker on injured reserve and re-signed TE Manasseh Garner.

Walker, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in 2009. He spent four years in Atlanta before signing on with the Raiders as an unrestricted free agent in 2013.

Walker later signed on with the Chiefs, but was cut loose this past March before signing a two-year, $4 million contract with the Broncos.

In 2015, Walker appeared in 15 games for the Broncos and recorded 33 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.

Garner, 24, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of last year. He lasted just a week in Kansas City before he was waived and signed by the Browns.

Garner was unfortunately among the Browns’ early roster cuts. He was later signed to the Bills practice squad, but the Broncos added him to their active roster and brought him back on a future/reserve contract before cutting him loose a few weeks ago.
