Broncos Promote CB Taurean Nixon To Active Roster

The Denver Broncos announced that they’ve promoted CB Taurean Nixon to their active roster on Tuesday.

Dixon will take the place of DB Omar Bolden, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve earlier in the day.

Nixon, 24, was taken in the seventh-round of this year’s NFL draft. Nixon, 24, was taken in the seventh-round of this year’s NFL draft. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to their practice squad.

During the preseason, Nixon appeared in all four games for the Broncos and totaled 10 tackles and a pass defense.
