Broncos Promote DT Kyle Peko To Active Roster

The Denver Broncos are promoting DT Kyle Peko to their active roster on Saturday, according to Mike Klis.

Peko, 24, wound up signing three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in May of last year. Denver waived him back in September and later signed him to their practice squad.

The Broncos waived Peko as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit and re-signed him to their practice squad. He’s been on and off of the Broncos’ active roster this year.

In 2016, Peko appeared in one game for the Broncos and recorded two total tackles. So far this season, he has appeared in one game but did not record any statistics.

During his one year at Oregon State, Peko recorded 45 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks and two pass defenses.
