Broncos Promoting OLB Vontarrius Dora, Placing LS Casey Kreiter On I.R.

Mike Klis of 9News reports that the Broncos are promoting OLB Vontarrius Dora to their active roster on Friday and placing LS Casey Kreiter on injured reserve with a calf injury.

Dora, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech back in May. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the team’s practice squad.

During his college career at La Tech, Dora recorded 145 tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, four pass defenses, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles over the course of four seasons.
