Broncos QB Peyton Manning’s Father Believes He’ll “Take Things Year To Year”

Speaking to USA Today, Archie Manning said he thinks his son, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, will “take things year to year” for the remainder of his NFL career.

I think he’s always done a good job of not taking his health for granted“, Archie said, adding “but after missing a season, I think he’s going year to year.

Manning signed with the Broncos last month, after being released by the Indianapolis Colts, who he spent 14 years with. If he can pass a physical next March, he will be guaranteed $20 million base salaries for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. There are going to be question marks surrounding Manning throughout the remainder of his time in the NFL, because of the severity of his injury, but he’s been optimistic that he’ll be able to return to his previous form.
