Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman Could Be Out As Many As Six Weeks

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that RB Ronnie Hillman could miss as many as six weeks with his foot injury.

The initial expectation was that Hillman would only miss about two weeks with a what was referred to as a mid-foot sprain, but it appears as though there is a chance he could be held out even longer than that.

C.J. Anderson, Montee Ball, and Juwan Thompson are expected to handle the workload while Hillman’s out, and the Broncos are expected to go with the hot-hand, so this is a tough situation to predict in terms of fantasy production.

Hillman, 23, is in the third year of his four-year, $3 million rookie contract and will make a base salary of $635,000 for the 2015 season.

This season, Hillman has ran for 378 yards on 91 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with 20 receptions for 137 yards receiving and four total touchdowns over the course of seven games.
