The Denver Broncos have re-signed DT Kyle Peko to their practice squad on Monday after he passed through waivers unclaimed, according to Nicki Jhabvala.
The Broncos’ practice squad now consists of:
- S Dymonte Thomas
- CB Marcus Rios
- OT Elijah Wilkinson
- ILB Jerrol Garcia-Williams
- OLB Deiontrez Mount
- WR Hunter Sharp
- C Dillon Day
- TE Austin Traylor
- RB Jonathan Williams (Exception)
- DT Kyle Peko
Peko, 24, wound up signing three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in May of last year. Denver waived him back in September and later signed him to their practice squad.
The Broncos waived Peko a few weeks ago as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
In 2016, Peko appeared in one game for the Broncos and recorded two total tackles.
During his one year at Oregon State, Peko recorded 45 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks and two pass defenses.
