The Denver Broncos have released veteran DL Ahtyba Rubin on Tuesday and placed OL Billy Turner on injured reserve, according to Mike Klis.

Rubin, 31, is a former sixth-round pick of the Browns back in 2008. He spent seven years in Cleveland before signing a one-year deal with the Seahawks.

Rubin was entering the second year of a three-year, $12 million contract that contained $5.5 million guaranteed and set to earn a base salary of $1.7 million this year when the Seahawks cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

The Broncos signed him to a contract a week later.

In 16 games for the Seahawks and recorded 38 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 90 interior defensive lineman out of 125 qualifying players.

In 2017, Rubin has been active for two games for the Broncos but has yet to record a statistic.
