Dolphins, Packers, Broncos & Browns Request Interviews With Steelers OL Coach Mike Munchak

According to Adam Schefter, the Broncos have requested permission to interview former Titans’ HC and current Steelers’ OL coach Mike Munchak for their head coaching job.

  • Schefter adds that the Packers have also requested permission to meet with Munchak about their head coaching vacancy.
  • Alex Marvez reports that the Browns are also expected to request an interview with Munchak.
  • According to Jason La Canfora, the Dolphins have also requested an interview with Munchak.

Munchak, 58, played 12 years in the NFL for the Houston Oilers. He was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time first-team All Pro, and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2011.

Munchak began his NFL coaching career in 1994 with the Oilers as their offensive assistant/quality control coach and eventually worked his way up to being the Titans head coach in 2011. After Tennessee fired following his third season, Munchak agreed to become the Steelers’ offensive line coach in 2014.
