Broncos Sign CB Quentin Jammer

Update:

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the Broncos will in fact convert newly signed DB Quentin Jammer to safety this season.

Klis adds that Jammer received a base salary of $940,000, which is close to the veteran minimum. He’s expected to attend the Broncos’ OTA practice Thursday.

The Denver Broncos announced the signing of former Chargers CB Quentin Jammer on Wednesday.

Jammer, 34, found almost no interest on the open market, so it will be interesting to see what the Broncos plans are for him this season.

They could use some additional help at safety and Jammer has really struggled in recent years, so there’s a chance he could be in for a position switch. Denver also showed interest in Charles Woodson before he signed with Raiders.
