Broncos Sign DE Brian Sanford

 

Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports that the Broncos have signed DE Brian Sanford to a contract on Tuesday.

• Legwold adds that Sanford is expected to attend meetings Tuesday night.

Sanford, 26, signed with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent back in 2010, but was later claimed off of waivers by the Raiders before he ultimately re-signed with Cleveland last December.

Sanford later signed a two-year contract with the Browns before he was released a few months ago.

Last year, he appeared in seven games for Cleveland and recorded eight tackles.
